Groups Management
Groups are the Facebook communities SocialSgnl monitors for engagement opportunities. Manage your targets from the Groups page in the sidebar.
Adding groups
You have two ways to add groups:
Manual add
Click Add Group, paste the Facebook Group URL (e.g., facebook.com/groups/example), give it a name, and save. The group is immediately linked to your active brand.
Auto-import
Click Import Groupsto automatically discover all Facebook Groups you're a member of. SocialSgnl uses your Facebook cookies to browse your groups page and pulls in every group it finds.
The import runs in real time — you'll see groups appear as they're discovered, along with their name, privacy setting, and member count. Once the import finishes, select which groups you want to keep.
Tip:Auto-import typically finds all your groups within 30-60 seconds. If you're in a lot of groups, it may take a bit longer.
Active vs. inactive groups
Each group has an active/inactive toggle. Only active groups are included when automation runs. This lets you keep groups in your list without monitoring them all the time.
Use cases for deactivating a group:
- Seasonal groups you only monitor at certain times
- Groups where you've paused engagement temporarily
- Testing — activate one group at a time to try things out
Bulk operations
Select multiple groups using the checkboxes to perform bulk actions:
- Bulk activate/deactivate — toggle monitoring for multiple groups at once
- Bulk delete — remove multiple groups from your brand
Groups and brands
Groups are always linked to a specific brand. When you switch brands using the brand switcher in the sidebar, you'll see a different set of groups.
This means you can monitor different Facebook Groups for different brands — for example, tech groups for your SaaS product and fitness groups for your health brand.
Group limits
The number of groups you can add depends on your subscription tier:
| Plan | Groups per brand |
|---|---|
| Free | 3 |
| Pro | 15 |
| Business | Unlimited |
