Getting Started

Go from sign-up to your first automated engagement in under 5 minutes. Follow these four steps to get everything running.

1

Create your account

Head to the sign up page and create your account using your email or Google Sign-In.

Once signed in, you'll land on your dashboard — this is your command center for everything.

2

Set up your brand

Navigate to the Brand page from the sidebar. This is where you tell the AI who you are so it can generate comments that sound like you.

Fill in your brand details:

  • Brand name — your business or product name
  • Mission — what your business does and who it helps
  • Key selling points — your unique value propositions
  • Tone guidelines — how you want your comments to sound (and what to avoid)

Tip: The more detail you provide, the better your AI-generated comments will be. Think of this as training your virtual community manager.

3

Connect your Facebook account

SocialSgnl needs access to your Facebook session to read group posts and post comments. This is done by importing your browser cookies.

  1. Install the Cookie Editor browser extension (available for Chrome and Firefox)
  2. Log into Facebook in your browser
  3. Open Cookie Editor and export all cookies (JSON format)
  4. Go to BrandFacebook Account and click Import Cookies
  5. Paste your cookies and save

Important:Your cookies are encrypted and stored securely. They expire periodically (usually ~30 days), so you'll need to re-import them when they expire. The dashboard will warn you when they're about to expire.

For a detailed walkthrough, see Facebook Cookies guide.

4

Add Facebook Groups

Go to the Groups page and add the Facebook Groups you want to monitor. You have two options:

  • Manual — paste a group URL and give it a name
  • Auto-import — click "Import Groups" to automatically discover all groups you're a member of

Run your first automation

Head to the Automation page (your main dashboard) and click Start Full Automation. SocialSgnl will:

  1. Scrape recent posts from your groups
  2. Analyze each post for relevance to your brand
  3. Generate tailored comments for relevant posts
  4. Queue comments for your review (or auto-approve high-confidence ones)

Check the Posts page to review and approve generated comments, then post them to Facebook.
